Q1. Who are Allbury Travel Group?
Allbury Travel Group Ltd is a UK holding company with a collection of specialist travel brands including Libra Holidays, Argo Holidays and Jetlife, Goldenjoy Dive, Enable Holidays and PriceRight Flights which had operated for over 30 years in the UK travel market.

Q2. What agreement has Allbury Travel Group reached with the credit card processing company?
Allbury Travel Group has recently signed a service agreement with the credit card payment service provider to try to assist (on their behalf) the passengers affected by the collapse of Zoom Airlines. Allbury Travel Group is currently in the process of trying to negotiate and source alternative travel arrangements for any passenger who has fully booked and paid via credit card and was due to travel with Zoom after September 20th 2008 between the UK and Canada with a number of airlines operating between these two countries.

Q3. Who may be offered alternative arrangements?
All passengers who have fully paid for their Zoom Airline flights by credit card for departure from 20th September 2008 onwards may be entitled to alternative flight arrangements sourced by Allbury Travel Group.

Q4. Who will not be offered any alternative flight arrangements?
Allbury Travel Group cannot unfortunately help the following passengers and they will not be considered for alternative travel arrangements.

  1. Anyone who has already cancelled their booking.
  2. Anyone who has booked via a Travel Agent, or Tour operator or Package company.
  3. Anyone who has already travelled or is due to travel with Zoom before September 20th 2008.
  4. Anyone who has only part paid for their Zoom flights.
  5. Anyone who has not fully paid for their Zoom flight (by credit card).
  6. Anyone who has booked on non UK-Canada routes.

However, although Allbury Travel Group cannot help source alternative flights for these customers you are still entitled to refer back to your credit card company and to claim for a full refund under their respective insurance scheme.

Q5. Can I decline any alternative travel arrangements offered by Allbury Travel Group and if so how does this affect me?
You are under no obligation to accept any alternative flights offered to you if you do not wish to accept the offer. If you are offered but do not accept an alternative flight then you will still be entitled to refer back to your credit card company to claim for a full refund under their insurance scheme.

Q6. What happens if I have already rebooked my flights?
If you have rebooked then please contact your credit company to arrange a refund for your original flight credit card expense booked with Zoom Airlines.

Q7. What if the alternative flight offered costs more than I paid?
We will endeavour to source replacement flights at no additional cost to you but this may not always be possible. In some instances the flights offered by alternative airlines may be more expensive and you will have the option (but not the obligation) to agree to pay the difference. If you are offered but do not accept an alternative flight offered for whatever reason then you will still be entitled to refer back to your credit card company to claim for a full refund under their insurance scheme.

Q8. What if I have already cancelled my booking?
If you have cancelled your booking, we will unfortunately not be able to source alternative flights for you.

Q9. What if I have already completed one part of my journey?
This arrangement does not cover repatriation. Please contact your credit card company or bank for any possible refunds.

Q10. How do I contact Allbury Travel Group?
Allbury Travel Group is in the process of seeking to negotiate and source alternative flights for passengers and will be in contact with you via email within the next 7 days or as soon as possible. Please be patient as owing to the large number of bookings involved we will be trying to source replacement flights in order of date of departure.
